Freelance: Safety Instrumented Systems Engineer (DeltaV SIS specialist)/ Functional Safety Engineer ( SIS TÜV Rheinland certified)

With 15+ years of experience in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) I have been involved mostly in implementation and testing of Software, Hardware and SCADA of SIS following the Safety Lifecycle Standards IEC 61511 and IEC61508, mostly for industries like: oil and gas, chemical, and refining. With a large experience in greenfields and brownfields, being Specialist in DeltaV SIS from Emerson (ESD, F&G and BMS), but also with some experience with Hima and Pilz systems.
I have dedicated a smaller part of my career to Functional Safety projects which are related more to design, verification and Functional Safety Management Systems (FSMS) of SIS projects including: Safety Integrity Level (SIL-PFD) Calculations, Safety Requirements Specification (SRS), Verification/Validation Test Procedures, Functional Safety Assessments.
I do have also a little bit of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, performing mostly documentation-related activities on Chrome Skid Equipment.
Technical and Project Management skilled always searching for the best balance between safety, flexibility, scalability, cost and user-friendly solutions.
